Les Sorties en Alsace

During our time in Colmar, students participated in a homestay program. For six days, students integrated themselves into a French family and explored the region of Alsace. With their host brothers and sisters, they also participated in two organised group excursions. During our first “sortie” students visited Struthof and the Haut Koenigsbourg. Struthof is the only concentration camp in France and the Haut Koenigsbourg is a medieval château fort. The second “sortie” was to Le Conseil de l’Europe in Strasbourg. During our guided visit, students learned about “les droits de l’homme” and how Le Conseil de l’Europe supports European members in civilian rights. Here are some photos!
