Flashback: Le Musée des mémoires 39-45

Bonjour parents et followers,

We celebrated the 4th of July at a WWII museum learning about various anecdotal stories and experiences of individuals who lived during the war. These personal stories were shared with the founders of the museum, Aurélien et Clément. This museum is special because it concentrates on testimonies of survivors, rather than historical textbook facts, although these were equally included during the visit.

Eugène, friend and acquaintance of Putney, brought a stereo to the museum and played the national anthem for us to celebrate our independence day. Here we are singing the anthem and facing our flag.
